This a rare find & such a little stunner she has a lovely centre part hair style that is curled underneath at the back & covered by her veil. She has a hard head & she has the markings as shown on her head in the pics above
Not sure if she has any markings on her back as her dress is fixed / glued onto her chest etc & will not allow me to search her! I think she must have been a special "COLLECTORS EDITION SINDY" rather than a "BUY TO PLAY ONE" ?.
She is wearing a standard pair of Sindy pants, a white and very pleated full petticoat, the Red Satin full skirt is underlined with dream satin material, as is the underside of the large flowing sleeves, The sleeves and the bodice is a very rich and ornate black material with a leaf embroided design in Grey, Silver and Gold. The "True Sleeves" are the same colour as the main part of the outfit (Red) these are edged with a white frill. Wearing a Gold and Black band at the waist which has her "BOOK of HOURS" (This is the long chain with the silver type case attached that can hold little notes in), At her Bodice she has a white frill and a row of beads sewn to her dress this is edged by gold. Also wearing a String of Pearls necklace
Sindy is a Rich Centre part Red Haired Doll although is of a long length has a style that is curled at the back of the head this is hidden by the Ornate hood which is firmly fixed and is not removable, The Hood follows the same colours and Decor as her Dress it has a Veil attached at the back this falls to just below her bottom Her dress a the back is long and flowing like a Bridal Dress
I think she made have had Earrings and rings at some time as there are Factory glue marks that would indicate this ?
The Dress is Fixed and is not removable, The Pearl lining the top of the hood although all are there one pearl needs putting back into place
She has Big Blue eyes with Thick lashes, Her Face is Pale and has Nude lips
A sweet lovely vintage doll and Outfit in Great / Near Mint Condition
No Hair Missing, No Nibbles etc and has clicky legs
Truly a Remarkable doll and outfit for anyone's collection
